¿What is LHAIF?
LHAIF (Lindy Hop Argentine International Festival) is the Lindy Hop festival organized in Argentina. Created by Catrine Ljunggren, Ana Luz Crespi, Gastón Fernandez, Nicolás Speraggy and Victoria Schweistein, LHAIF had its release in Dicember 2006.
In January 2012 we are going to celebrate its sixth edition with a more vary offer, guest teachers, classes, live bands, performances and competitions so that the Lindy Hop community in Argentina, visitors from around the world and all Jazz fans may have four days and nights to enjoy themselves and dance.

In 2012, LHAIF brings you the same magic as the previous years with some extras:

  • This year, we are going to have the classic Beginners Pack that includes four classes and two social dances. So if you have friends that want to start dancing and never had the courage to do it or that are sad and lonely… This is their chance! Register now, there is no way back from Swing dancing.

  • We also have the Full Pack with four levels: Lindy Kamikazes, Shorty Georges, Big Beas y Eternal Frankies. The pack includes eight classes plus the well known Flash Class and the ticket to all the parties.

  • Some international instructors will come to visit us and we will also have the local teachers that are here year long helping foster this dance.

  • We are going to have four bands that are going to put live music to our nights. We all know that dancing with a live band is priceless and specially if we have these bands.

  • We won’t leave our competitions aside. Three divisions: Jack and Jill, Strictly Lindy and Solo Dance. You waited the whole year for this and you still have two months to train. There will be prizes for the winners apart from eternal glory and unlimited admiration.

  • And since we wanted even more, this year we are going to offer dinner at the venue. Yes! So exciting! So you don’t have to worry about when, and how to give energy to your body. Our international cheff, Stuart Manahan, will delight us with delicious and nutritious meals. We need you to book your meal in advance so our Aussie cook knows how much to cook and everyone has a meal.
