Jack & Jill is the ultimate for fun only dance contest. Sign up without any previous experience in competition, no preparation, no steady partner. All it is is a spontanious outburst of social dance!
Every contestant will be asigned a new partner for each round, meeting him the moment he steps onto the dancefloor.
The contest will be judged by our highly qualified board of guest and local teachers and will be open only for amateur dancers.
RULES
The Jack and Jill will have two rounds, preliminary and final, wich will take place in two different days.
At the beginning of the prelim round we will asign the couples ramdomly and they will dance 2 or 3 songs at slow and medium tempo.
In those songs the couples will rotate, so everybody will dance with several different partners. At the end of preliminary round, the judges will pick the finalists.
For the final round the couples will be ramdomly asign again, but this time, each couple will remain together during all the round.
The songs will be in a medium and fast tempo.
Aerials are not allowed in this contest, nor any movement that can put your partner security at risk.
To choose the finalists and the winning couple the judges will evaluate:
Connection
Diversity
Originality
Musicality
Charisma
The registration will open 15 days before the festival and will be room for only 20 followers and 20 leaders.
